data-start=\"195\" data-end=\"517\">Established in honour of William Blackstone, the 18th-century English jurist and legal scholar whose <em data-start=\"296\" data-end=\"333\">Commentaries on the Laws of England<\/em> shaped the common law tradition, this annual competition recognizes outstanding student scholarship on themes relating to <strong>constitutionalism, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law<\/strong>.<\/h6><h6 data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"712\">Open to JD\/LLB\/BCL students, articling students, and judicial clerks across Canada, the Blackstone Prize offers a unique opportunity to contribute to ongoing legal and constitutional discourse.<\/h6><h5 data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"724\"><strong data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"724\">Prizes<\/strong><\/h5><ul
