Southam<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> [1984], <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wong<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> [1990], and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Duarte<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> [1990]. He will argue that while technology and government powers have evolved, the principle of a protected private sphere remains essential.
