Attorney General of Ontario et al., 2025 ONSC 4397<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with Professor Mark Walters (Queen\u2019s University) and Professor Jamie Cameron (Osgoode Hall Law School), on Thursday, March 12th.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This panel will examine the Ontario Superior Court of Justice\u2019s decision striking down the province\u2019s plan to remove protected bike lanes in Toronto. The discussion will focus on the scope and limits of section 7 of the Charter, including whether the ruling signals an expansion of the state\u2019s positive obligations to protect life and security of the person.
