The ideal candidate will have: 1) an undergraduate degree from an accredited university; 2) demonstrated experience with CRM platforms; and 3) one to three years of experience in a similar position with a like-minded organization. Experience with membership platforms such as WildApricot is an additional asset.<\/p><p>The Operations and Communications Director\u2019s time will be approximately divided between the following tasks and areas of responsibility:<br \/><br \/>1. Communications (40%)<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">Managing website and social media outlets<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Fulfilling orders for Runnymede\u2019s online store of merchandise and publications<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Facilitating media appearances for the National Director<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Curating and promoting a Continuing Legal Education archive and library<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Overseeing the production of new content (<i>e.g.<\/i>, YouTube, podcasts, etc.)<\/li><\/ul><p>2. Member Engagement (30%)<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">Overseeing and managing Runnymede\u2019s growing membership and donors list<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Ensuring existing members renew their annual membership<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Promoting membership at chapter events and in the legal profession<\/li><\/ul><p>3. Administration (30%)<\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\">Conference and symposia logistics (<i>e.g.<\/i>, venue, travel, etc.)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Student and lawyer chapter administrative support (<i>e.g.<\/i>, funding requests, speaker invitations, event promotion, etc.)<\/li><li aria-level=\"1\">Responding to general inquiries from our members, etc.<\/li><\/ul><p>The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary and opportunity to receive a bonus on the completion of key performance objectives. The position may be held from anywhere in Canada, though occasional reimbursed travel may be required.
