We know what this conference means to so many of you, and how eager our members are to gather together again in person at Hart House after being separated for much of the pandemic. Over the past few months, we\u2019ve been hard at work planning what we hope will be the best Runnymede Society conference yet.<\/p>\n<p>But if the last two years have taught us anything, it\u2019s that plans change. In light of the rapidly increasing number of omicron variant cases in Ontario, our team has spent the last week carefully re-assessing the status of our national conference. <strong>After consulting with our venue, we\u2019ve made the difficult decision to reschedule Law &amp; Freedom 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although Ontario currently allows for conference venues to host events at 50% capacity with proof-of-vaccination, we\u2019re not confident that this will still be the case by our original conference dates of January 21-22. At the same time, we also know how keen many of you are to attend our conference in person. Given the circumstances, we\u2019ve decided that the most prudent course of action is to postpone the conference in the hope that we will be able to host attendees in person on a later date.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Law &amp; Freedom 2022 aura d\u00e9sormais lieu du vendredi 11 mars au samedi 12 mars \u00e0 Hart House \u00e0 Toronto<\/strong>. I am delighted to confirm that our previously-announced keynote speakers, Marie Henein and Justice Suzanne C\u00f4t\u00e9, will still be joining us on these rescheduled dates. We plan to unveil our full conference agenda in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Merci \u00e0 tous nos supporters pour leur patience et leur compr\u00e9hension en ces temps incertains.
