Fall Forward 2025

Help Support Student Events with Donation Matching!
0%

Will you ensure that our student chapter events go on? Your generosity helps guarantee that our largest-ever slate of fall events becomes a reality, bringing the hard work and dedication of our student leaders to fruition.

Donate now until September 30th and have your financial impact “matched” (meaning doubled) by a generous private donor, up to $10,000.

Any dollar amount is welcome and will directly fund student-led initiatives this fall, including speaker travel and accommodation costs, among other event-related expenses.

The Runnymede Society is a project of the Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF). Official tax receipts are issued by the CCF for donations of $25 or more. The CCF’s charitable registration number is 86617 6654 RR0001. Donations made in person or by cheque should be made out to the “Canadian Constitution Foundation” and accompanied by a memo indicating that you would like us to earmark your gift towards Runnymede Society activities. All donors have the option to remain anonymous.

Interested in supporting a specific program or student chapter? Reach out to our Content and Communications Director Robbie Borrelli (rborrelli@runnymedesociety.ca) to ensure your gift supports your preferred cause.

Our Programs

1. Student Chapters

Every year, we bring together law student volunteers to host events in law schools across Canada that challenge the culture of self-censorship that many law schools have cultivated.

2. Lawyer Chapters

Our lawyer chapters gather lawyers in cities across Canada to host thought-provoking events that strengthen and expand the Runnymede network.

3. Scholarships and Fellowships

Every year, we offer the Blackstone Prize and Jack Major Graduate Fellowship to support legal academics committed to the principles of constitutionalism, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law.

4. Law & Freedom

Our annual conference attracts over 200 scholars, lawyers, and law students to hear from some of the brightest minds in Canada’s legal community on the most pressing issues relating to constitutionalism, fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law.

5. Dicey Law Review

Produced in collaboration between the Runnymede Society and Advocates for the Rule of Law, the Dicey Law Review provides scholarly articles focused on constitutionalism and the rule of law every year. Some articles are jointly published in the Supreme Court Law Review.
