Please join the Runnymede Society’s University of Toronto Law Chapter for a fireside chat on interprovincial trade barriers, featuring Professor Trevor Tombe (Calgary, Department of Economics) and Professor Nicolas Lamp (Queen’s, Faculty of Law), on Thursday, November 20th!
Professors Tombe and Lamp will explore the causes of interprovincial trade barriers—policies that limit the free flow of goods, services, and labour across Canada—and discuss their economic, legal, and political consequences. Together, they will examine how these internal barriers affect prosperity, competition, and cooperation within Canada’s federation.
Lunch will be provided.
