Please join the Runnymede Society’s Vancouver Lawyers Chapter for an evening with Justice Malcolm Rowe of the Supreme Court of Canada, on Wednesday, March 4th, at the offices of Miller Thomson LLP.
Justice Rowe’s talk, titled “Can the Centre Hold?” (a phrase taken from W.B. Yeats’ The Second Coming), will explore the cross-currents in an increasingly polarized society and the importance of maintaining a moderate approach. The event will blend political and legal philosophy, reflecting on how both disciplines intertwine to shape a balanced society.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM for a cocktail hour. Justice Rowe’s remarks will begin at approximately 7:00 PM and will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
