The Runnymede Society (Ottawa Lawyers’ Chapter) will be hosting Professor Ryan Alford for a fireside chat and discussion about his book, “Seven Absolute Rights”. The conversation will explore the concept of non-derogable rights and the constitutional crises that led to these sacrosanct legal protections. Professor Alford will also outline recent violations of these absolute rights and detail his ongoing litigation to challenge one of those violations in particular.
