Please join the Runnymede Society’s University of Saskatchewan Chapter for a fireside chat with The Honourable Don Morgan and The Honourable Eric Cline, on Monday, March 16th.

This discussion will reflect on the years immediately before and after the adoption of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Drawing on their experiences as law students, practising lawyers, and later provincial Cabinet Ministers from different political parties, the speakers will discuss how the Charter reshaped Canada’s constitutional landscape and political environment. They will also address obligations related to cabinet confidentiality and the unique role of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General.
