This talk forms Part II of a two-part lecture series delivered across two Runnymede student chapters. Both lectures will reflect on the relationship between the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and liberal democracy, with Part II subtitled “How a Proper Understanding of the Charter Strengthens Liberal Democracy.” This talk will be followed by a question-and-answer period.
