The Runnymede Society’s Calgary Lawyer Chapter, in collaboration with Dentons Canada LLP, is pleased to invite you to an evening examining the intersection of law, politics, and executive power.
The program will begin with a featured lecture and discussion with Brad Roth, Professor of Political Science and International Law at Wayne State University. Drawing on his scholarship in international and comparative public law, Professor Roth will explore the uses and abuses of executive authority, with particular attention to constitutional governance in Canada and the United States.
The evening will conclude with a guided tour of Dentons’ art collection, with appetizers and drinks being served. Attendees are welcome to participate in the lecture, the art tour, or both portions of the program.
