The Runnymede Society is pleased to announce that Mark Mancini will be taking over for Joanna Baron as National Director this Spring, 2019. Mark was a founding Runnymede Society chapter president at the University of New Brunswick and has distinguished himself as an eloquent and prominent young legal academic and public law scholar.
Mark will be an outstanding National Director, and continue on the positive momentum Runnymede has created, with a national conference that continues to grow in size and influence, active chapters at almost every law school in the country, a busy slate of academic programming, and a mandate to shift the legal culture in Canada towards liberty.
Mark is currently finishing his LLM at the University of Chicago, where he is specializing in administrative law and governmental structure. His academic interests lie primarily in administrative law, constitutional remedies, and law and economics. Mark previously clerked at the Federal Court for Justice Ann Marie McDonald (2017-18), before which he graduated from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law (2017). He is a co-blogger at Double Aspect Blog.
